32 FileMaker Data Centers
Ottomatic has more full traditional data centers than any other provider, each one capable of hosting a highly optimized FileMaker server
Data Center Specifications
Compliance
Our data centers have varying compliance, including SOC 1 Type II, SOC 2 Type I, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
Ottomatic is the only 3rd party SOC 2 certified hosting provider.
No "Lite" FileMaker Data Centers
We do not use micro or lite data centers like other providers. These smaller data centers can usually only host the very smallest FileMaker servers.
Our traditional data centers can host any size of FileMaker servers.
10 GB Network Standard
Most FileMaker data centers max out at 1GB of network bandwidth.
Our goal is to ensure you experience low latency for IPv4 and IPv6 traffic worldwide.
Each of our data center locations is peered with local network exchanges, offering high-speed and low-latency connections, with 10GB+ connectivity standard.

Why Data Centers Matter
FileMaker data centers provide some of the core capacities that the FileMaker application requires to perform well. Here are some of them.
- Close to users. FileMaker requires a low-latency connection. The closer you can get the better.
- High-speed network bandwidth. Less than 1 GB is just not great. You need at least a GB. 10 GB is even better.
- Compute power to handle FileMaker servers of any size. Small servers are usually only good for a few users o or for testing.
Ottomatic has over 30 highly quality data centers around the world.
